Meteorite Dials

Hi everyone

Having realised that the GMT meteorite is probably my grail watch, and unfortunately something I will doubtfully ever own, what other meteorite dial men's watches are available aside from GMT and Daytona? I'm assuming perhaps OP or DJ but perhaps I'm mistaken? Don't really want to spend more than about £10k (circa $14k) on one but would like to know/see what's available anyway?

Pics please if anyone has one....

Thanks

DanB

I can’t find the technique to capture the dial properly it’s almost 3D and they change every angle you look at them from. Gorgeous dials. Dd40 is pictured photo taken today as I just bought the GMT today.

There are meteorite dd36 aswell I’m not sure of the price but that will be closer to your budget, but still probably not enough.

If you live anywhere close to Winchcombe in Gloucestershire you may strike meteorite gold on the ground after last week.

It’s about 20 miles too far away for me to justify as a local to home walk under current lockdown rules.

My brother however should be going over every square inch of his garden.

I dont think any such dial from Rolex will be remotely within ur budget range, sadly, but truly stunning and gorgeous dial agreed.

Thank you all for your pics - sad that it might not be a Rolex this time - very lovely watches you all have though

Like another has said, Rolex will definitely be out of budget. The Cellini Moonphase has a smidge of meteorite in it and second had is around $20k. That’s probably the closest you’ll get with Rolex. Omega does have some cool options for your budget though.

Meteorite Dials

Threads need pics!

Fun Fact - the OB said only about 8 of these can be made per month. This is by far my favorite watch. I literally went to every AD I could find trying to get it, and after about 2 years, found it in the case at the boutique.

Also, since you were talking gmt, the chrono can double as a gmt if you set the reference time at 12:00.

Only downside is no bracelet, but it looks great on a variety of straps.

Rolex meteorite dials seem only to be available on PM watches, so they will be nowhere near your budget, but they look amazing!

This is a great combo. I know that many people aren't fans of diamonds on their watches, especially on the bezels, but this looks incredible.

Baguette markers make all the difference.

Try taking 1-2 second video and uploading to a gif creator maybe.

Radcliffe has a 118239 meteorite for $22.8k right now. THat's probably your most reasonable option. The 5-digit Tridors also had a meteorite option:

Beautiful watch. Never seen one in person or been able to try it on, how does it wear compared to a Daytona size-wise?
