Better than I imagined, Grail Level 5500
About 6 weeks or so back another user on this forum posted a comment about hooking someone up with his AD for a blue 5500. I figured by the time I saw the post (nearly 2 weeks) I would be way down the list for such. I did reach out and was connected to the AD, he said it would take about a month. It took exactly one month, arrived the day after my birthday. While the pictures of this watch never fail to impress, it is that much better in person. What a great, what a great hook up from another member. Thank you Mark, and thanks to Slah at the AD.
As a side, I try to engage my 9yr son from time to time on my watches so when I am gone he will have memories of these trinkets. Further, my father in law is Maltese and shares pictures and stories of Malta with my son. Hopefully, one day, this watch will have multiple meanings to him. Until that day, I will rock this thing with pride. |

Beautiful watch that I nearly got this for my 50th, only thing that put me off was the date window. It just looks wrong with the white background imho.
If they would change it to a dark background with white numerals they would have my attention |
