Getting 2x Classic Moonwatches - AD Discount?
Hey guys.
So in the never-ending tale of woe that is "building that AD relationship" (I'm dying for a BLRO) I'm going to buy a Speedy. Long time coming, and I'm a little annoyed at myself for leaving it so long. I've purchased a few times from this AD before, few Rolexes and a BB58. Luckily for me, my friend has also shown an interest in a Speedy, so we're going to make a day of it. Question is, what would seem like a realistic discount to shoot for on both of these models? Any recent success stories? |

Seen as you’re UK based check out Hackett Watches. He can supply new with 5 year warranty for a decent price.

If buying two at once, then absolute minimum 15-20% off MSRP.

I think if you're building a relationship with this specific dealer, then you should come right out and say to the dealer that this is your intention, and to this end you've brought a friend who wants to join you in buying a couple of Speedmasters. Make mention that you learned from acquaintances on the watch forum that Omega dealers have been known to discount the Speedmaster Pro, and then let the dealer call the shots from there. If you want to build a relationship then take what ever discounted price the dealer offers and express gratitude. Perhaps then you will have earned the right to ask for that BLRO.
