New Rolex Sub, new to forum - after some advice
Hi TRF Community 👋,
I have recently purchased my first Rolex, the beautiful 124060 2021 Submariner (no date). Like most new watch owners I have spent the past few days absolutely besotted and intensely studying every mm of the watch. Upon inspection I have spotted what I think is a very minor imperfection and wonder if this is indeed an imperfection or totally normal. On the 12oclock chromalight marker there is a small dark patch near the middle, its barely visible and I dare say 9/10 people would never notice.... but now I've seen it I cannot unsee it 🤦 I assume its a lack of pigment in that area as its more visible in the dark when chromalight is charged. I am taking it back to the dealer for inspection and they have agreed to swap but keen to see if this is common? Frazer |

Welcome to the forum Frazer.
Let us know what your AD has to say. Without a picture it’s hard to judge what you’re describing, but if it’s one of those “can’t unsee it” things, I’d be inclined to have it addressed. Good luck, it’s a beautiful reference btw |

A quick update, I took back to the dealer and it was replaced without question, they agreed it was a factory defect and had not seen anything like it before. It was suggested that defects like this can add value as its more 'unique' but I suspect this was a ploy to avoid the hassle of replacing and not something that interested me. Absolutely love it and cant take ot off my wrist :) |
