I prefer the BLNR and always have. At first I wanted the Oyster but the Jubilee grew on me, especially after buying a DJ41 on Jubilee. If this is for you, don't worry about which one has better resale value or whatever. I had the opportunity to buy either the BLRO or BLNR and of course choose the BLNR. Had a friend who has the pepsi say to me "the pepsi is worth more though"...I could care less the BLNR is the watch I'd always wanted. And I love it!

BLNR on jubilee by a country mile. I like my colours bold, not like they’ve been through the wash too many times

I was all about the Pepsi when it first came out but after handling both of them, I'm Batman all the way. The black and blue looks much better to me in person and seems like a more versatile color combination.

So the batman wins. 1) the colors have been perfected and the Pepsi still pastel unless in flattering light. 2) batman is more integrated as it has less colors. The Pepsi looks like a hodgepodge of colors, too much going on.

BLRO for me.
The twist would be if you threw in the CHNR. I honestly don't know where I would place that one within the rank, but I suspect it would be first or second at worst. My guess: 1) BLRO / CHNR 3) BLNR Having said that, each is fantastic and I would be happy with any. I also like the BLRO on jubilee and the BLNR on oyster better. Not sure why.

I would take either in any configuration. But if an AD was offering one out of the pair I would go with the batman.

I have had both BLNR and BLRO on jubilee. I kept the BLRO. I like the color contrast on the bezel better. Maybe it would be different if my bezel had more of the pink or purple shades, but it has strong blue and red colors.

BLNR if you are going to daily it, it goes with so much more. I love the BLRO but there are so many dial version and not all of them are great.

Just received my BLNR a couple of days ago. I also had a choice between a the 2. I also had a choice of bracelets. My rule is always try something on in person before deciding as pics are often deceiving. I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it…and it’s my first Jubilee…

Pepsi
I feel the blue/red is a better pairing than black/blue. The BLNR just always looks cut-off to me with the drastic change from black to blue, while the blue/red segues better imo. I'd happily buy and wear either though, just prefer the BLRO. |
