Only thing about the bracelet that I don't like is the rivets, but I'm still fine with the watch's aesthetics as is.

It's got some options on Tudor's website on leather or on a NATO strap. Looks great on those.

I'd love to own it but at the price it's set at, there are just so many other options out there that I don't see this becoming a priority for me to make a part of my collection.

I don’t think it looks bad. The killer for me is the pseudo fake gold capped center links.

My Ad has these rootbeers on display.
Prob I had not too high expectations today. Lol. And in a buying mood as i got my sd43 126603 2 tone today.

He showed me the new tudors on display. The rootbeers n the explorer ii.

I was immediately blown away by the rootbeer. Hell. It was so gorgeous in real life than what i seen on youtubes. Seriously i was hooked on the spot.

Its for display. But they r taking orders. In just a min. Heck. I got my credit card out to work to place a deposit.

I want this. And i still want the rolex rootbeer. I am never gonna drink sprite or pepsi. Lol i said.

My ad smiled and thank me for my biz.

The current OP has taught me that I actually like YG accents, though not a fan of true TT watches (bracelet) so I'm a big fan of this watch on a strap.

On the leather strap it looks better. Saw on in the case on bracelet and was not impressed.

I would have liked it if the bracelet wasn't two-tone. If they can get a 39mm GMT or thinner it will be a must buy for me.

I believe this is a piece one thinks of as 'it's fine'. Nothing more nothing less. I believe the centre links look more YG than RG which I don't particularly like. Also I can't believe they still use those fake rivets. Tudor should have overcome such design flaws by now I recon.

I'd highly consider getting this, if it was 39mm with a thin case. Waiting patiently Tudor...

50/50. Will see if it grows on me. Would’ve preferred if the bracelet had RG instead of YG.

Picked one up from my AD a few weeks ago. Great vintage vibe and excellent daily driver along with my Tudor Pepsi. Sure it doesn't hold a candle to my Rolex GMT's but some days I just like flying under the radar. FYI pictures do not do this watch any justice, it looks fantastic in the flesh.

It’s almost a very nice looking watch. I might be able to live with the crown but the rivets kill it for me.

I got to try on the new Root Beer on the bracelet last night and personally I was pretty underwhelmed and passed.
For me the bracelet did not work well with the bezel and dial.
I have asked to see one on the leather strap the next time they get one in, since I love my Pepsi on the leather strap

Nope. It’s ugly imo. Also I think Tudor gold on links are caps.

Each to their own. I think It looks great in the metal. The colours & tone of the brushed gold are a nice change to the usual shiny polished gold applications.
Most gold on watches can look garish in bad, really bright lighting - in it the right conditions, however, it can look f’n fantastic…

To be fair, whether it holds a candle to the Rolex version wasn’t really the question.

It was a simple ‘does anyone like the new Tudor root beer’

Not ‘is the new Tudor root beer as good as the Rolex version’
