here you'll see the daytona doesn't stay too long and the TT Sub loses its TT bracelet. the bracelet was so worn, i was beginning to think it would just fall apart on my wrist soon, so i replaced it with a modern SS bracelet with SEL for half the price asked for a replacement TT version.

some images of what the TT bracelet looked like prompting the replacement. it had just been polished and was sold seperately. notice the wear notches in both the gold and SS parts of the bracelet.

also there is a picture of my idea of a watch collection, when the submariner was all i could think about.

Beautiful collection and pics.
Your 16613 bluesy with the SS bracelet inspired my 16803 mods. I thank you.

Hey Subtona do you miss the aquanaut at all? I'm thinking of adding one to my BLNR and speedy, or maybe the 15202 instead. Can't make up my mind. Any tips?

I had both the 5167 and 15202 and though they are both fine choices, in the end, I was not satisfied.
The 5711 has been a favorite and sees very much wrist time.
Of course you can try the others but the 5711 is my best and most sincere recommendation.

Great story! Similar to mine actually. Bought a Sea Dweller, wanted to learn more about it. Joined Timezone, things were a little stuffy over there, found TRF and stayed. It is amazing what happens to ones watch collection when you stick around these forums!

Thanks Gus. Your story helps me realize I am not alone. This forum has enabled the best of us. I really like the state of your collection and the perseverance you had to get there. Congrats on a great collection.

Thanks, speaking if PP chrono, happy to say it finally returned home from Geneva today. So nice to have it back on the wrist.

I also must report that there may be another change in the near future...stay tuned :)
