I will say one thing. It's tolerable on a strap. But I'd just spend the premium and pick up a retro Root Beer off of C24 and throw it on a nice strap.

I am not sure who this Tudor is supposed to appeal to (and I am a very big fan of Tudor).

Not my cup of tea…surprised they didn’t use the vintage bezel colorway from ref 16753

I saw both the model on the bracelet and the strap version today at the AD. Preferred the strap over the bracelet. The strap was very nice quality, and the dark brown color went well with the watch.

I like it when Tudor comes out with watches that aren't aping an existing Rolex (Tudor Black Bay Ceramic, Pelagos, Ranger). This, the Black Bay "Pro" and the BB Pepsi are just too blatant of copies of popular Rolex models, and they look purposely worse.

I'm generally not a fan of two-tone but I think it looks great on a strap.

Agree I said the same about the BB pro/16570.
Or any two tone Rolex GMT or sub may be worth the splurge, vintage or modern.

Even the Tudor TT Chrono at a discount I'd take over this.

As someone above said, nice “flex”.

Useful observations and direct relevance to this thread?

I love it. My only complaint is that Tudor didn't take this opportunity to add the T-clasp.

Not a fan of that one at all, although it looks far better on the strap as opposed to the bracelet. To me, making an homage/pastiche of a current Rolex model isn't that far removed from what Steinhart and the likes do. (OK Tudor have more entitlement to it given the Wilsdorf umbrella, but even so...)

I'd have liked this Tudor more if they'd gone with a brown/gold bezel insert more in keeping with the old 16753 "Root Beer" as opposed to the brown/black of the current CHNR.

In contrast I have no problem (and actually really like) the BB Pro with it's 1655 vibe because it's not aping a current model.

Why is anyone impressed with this piece? It's a clear replica of the Rolex 126711CHNR and only produced to capitalize on the scarcity of the Rolex version, much like the Tudor Pepsi. Buy a Steinhart and save some money.

Ohh thought they did! LOL no they didn’t. I wonder why.

https://youtu.be/j5qb_Udtk_w

From around 2:00 the video focuses on the clasp. It’s clearly the older generation and lacks any TT feature.

I sure hope this doesn’t mean only specific models get the T-Fit moving forward

A bonus? 5270 euro is a ridiculous amount for a gold capped Tudor, come on now.

For the same amount you can get a Rolex OP (yeah yeah, if you can get one). It's a Rolex and a better watch.
