LA Watch Works rocks !

Hi Guys:

I sent my GMT Oyster PCL bracelet in to LA WatchWorks to make it all brushed links, instead of the factory polished center links.

They did an excellent job on this, and it looks great.

Fast turn around time too !

Since I also have a Kermit, and a 16700, the brushed look is my preference.

Great job to LA Watch Works, highly recommend to anyone considering this !

I’ve been considering doing the same with my BLRO on oyster. Thanks for sharing.

I had bad experience with LAWW, will never do business with again.
Last I send my SD for dented lug repair , in person, since I live in the area. They originally quoted $350, waited 2 weeks, they called and requoted for $500. I asked my watch back without repair, since I am not comfortable with the new price. They refused! Another 3 weeks later, at pick up they charged another $50 for pressure test, which originally quoted for free, and I know the pressure test is free of charge with most services..... anyway, I will definitely never use them again. Unprofessional business practice!

But the Kermit (16610LV) and the 16700 already come with brushed links. I guess you mean you sent only the BLRO for that job.

They refused to send your watch back? Not saying I don’t believe you, I’m just really skeptical. They have always been professional and reasonable in my experience.

Who did you deal with? Any proof? Emails?

Anxious to see some pics as I would like to carry this out too. What price did they charge to brush out the PCLs?

I'd probably find a sub bracelet instead.

This is what I did. Nearly sent my PCL bracelet to LAWW but in the end didn’t want to mess with the original. Expensive alternative I suppose, but now have a glidelock clasp.

This isn’t a post about male enhancement pills. We need images to be sold on watch repairs, OP!

Walkman - They are a well known well regarded business. If you want to say otherwise backing that up is idea. I have done business with them on three different watches. Work was solid.

I’ve used LAWW on 3 Daytonas for full brush and a sub for a lug repair and always happy with the results and service.

If LAWW brushes the PCLs, and later on you send it to RSC, would they just polish them again? Would they charge extra to polish with a routine service?

Lugs already brushed. Only the bracelet needed brushing.

Came out great.

When I get back to my "real" computer I can take a pix and upload.

Did not send entire watch in, just removed the bracelet and sent that. A few days later it was sent back to me via Fedex.

Trust me, it came out great ! (If you like brushed Oyster, which I do).

Why, haven't you ever seen a brushed oyster ?

Your post is worthless, since it doesn't contribute to anything or anyone.

Must be just trying to get your "worthless" number of posts up !
