34mm Datejust? Ref 6508 from 50s or 60s

Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can chime in and tell me more about my late grandfather's watch.

Here's what I think I so far:

1. It's a late 50s or early 60s (my dad thinks it was bought in 1964) 6508 34mm Date, but for some reason the dial says Datejust.
2. It measures about 34mm in diameter with a 19mm lug width.
3. Has BREVET+ markings between lugs too and the crown has the coronet and a + under it.
4. Dial resembles a honeycomb texture but it doesn't exactly match other honeycomb dials I've seen in my research.
5. ROLEX text on the dial is raised and not printed
6. SWISS only at the bottom
7. Indices have dots of lume and 9' and 6' are like caltrop shaped.
8. Serial number is 33069

I don't have the original bracelet unfortunately. Is this case also considered a semi-bubbleback?

The main thing that confuses me is that the dial says DATEJUST and not just Date. I was under the impression there is no 34mm datejust.

I'll attach some photos here. Thanks for looking!
