SORRY I MEANT 18038 CANT CHANGE THREAD TITLE ON EDIT COULD A MOD DO THIS PLEASE

i am a bit worried though, the strap was really good regarding stretch, i have picked up some info on here that this ought to be a red flag, meaning that it could easily be a replacement italian strap,

Also, is a rose gold clasp really obvious to spot, and would an italian replacement be rose gold at the clasp, and would it be stamped rolex etc?

I know Ignorance is bliss, but i dont want bliss i want all original.

A good condition bracelet is not a red flag for me. I would not even consider buying one in anything but in good condition.

Red gold clasp is not easy to spot when he clasp is closed. Everything visible like the crown on the clasp is in YG. When open you can see it clear.

To me it seems that most of the clasps have a reddish tint. My 18248 bracelet's clasp (#8723) is much redder than the rest of the gold.

They added some additional alloys to the gold blend in the clasp blades for strength since pure 18K gold is really soft. Gives it the pinkish/red hue.
