Solid 5 year interval

Hi all, can anyone let me know their experience with service intervals for their AP. I understand when you purchase new, you can send the watch in for a pressure test after 2 years and then you receive an extension. My question is specifically for after that. Can you get a solid 5 years between servicing or are these best serviced every 3 years. Thinking of a 15400 but would like to know the answer to this one.

I think the rule of thumb is 5-7 years per service according to AP.

5 years would be a bare minimum nowadays, what with the tolerance level of the parts and the synthetic lubes used.
Seals should be good too, but a pressure test every 2-3 years is worthwhile, if you plan on using in water beyond showering and washing dishes.
Many people subscribe to the service only when it shows signs of needing it – timekeeping being the main focus.

If you invest in a $200 or so Chinese made timegrapher, you’ll be able to monitor all your watches for amplitude, beat error, and accuracy, which will give you a clearer picture of when it starts to show a watch being due a service.

Wonder if thats the same interval if i use my watch rarely. Probably only once-twice a week max. It's with hornback strap, so i never shower etc with it

As I get it 5 is minimum, and 7 is possible...
