Also, serious question, I'm planning to go to Cairo. Is it safe to wear GMT2c there?

Apparently so.

Using your cellphone while driving though, isn't

It's safe to clear the huge piles of dog poop our two furry friends leave in the back garden, while I'm wearing a vintage DJ.

It's not a very dignified way to treat a Rolex though

I'm my line of work, we often get told to not wear flashy watches or jewelry. While I completely understand the logic, I have been good to go while wearing my GMTIIc and my Explorer 2.

Is it safe to wear your Rolex in several different countries in Africa?

Yes, yes it is.

Although I may have just beat the law of averages. :)

It's safe to go hiking through slippery mossy rocks, mud, watery creeks, then taking swim in the Delaware river!

I hear that it's not.....actually I've heard the wearing of said watches can cause immense depletion of bank accounts, reddening of wives faces, uncontrollable smiles (ala the joker in the REAL Batman...thank you Michael Keaton), hysteria, and ocd. Sooooo.....you should all send yours to me for your own wellbeing....HA!

★The OFFICIAL★ "Is It Safe" Rolex Thread

On a Wine Tasting Tour to the Valle De Guadalupe in Mexico I saw the air dry machine in a winery restroom and I pondered my original question that started this thread, "Is It Safe" to use this machine in Mexico while wearing a SS Sub?”

Conclusion: Although the air was much warmer and blew harder... Yes, "It Is Safe!"

I can't believe members treat their watches so poorly. Going to the beach, hugging babies, smoking cigars; really? The nerve of some people!
