If BLNR is too much for work, how about an Exp or a Cellini?

Ps. Any owner of a modern rolex that believes it should lot be worn each and every minute of the day is truly missing a great opportunity. Please reconsider, a rolex should be worn til it falls off.

I agree. It’s one or two times on accident a year that i forget a watch. I have a buddy that doesn’t wear his subC very often because he doesn’t want to ruin it. I can’t understand that thought process. If you want a nice watch to wear every once in a while when you go out, buy something on leather. Wear the sport watches daily, that’s what they are there for.

24/7 and 365, unless on vacation in sketchy areas then it's the Luminox wet/dry.

Consequently my G-shock still sees most of wrist time.

Does this mean I made a mistake buying the BLNR? I think not. When I do wear it, it's an occasion and I appreciate it even more. There is absolutely no rule stating what the right amount of wrist time is, so as to be called a "true Rolex owner".

I need to have my watch. Whether it's a Rolex or a g-shock, I need to have one on. I feel naked without one.

My check list when I leave my house:

- watch
- wallet
- phone
- keys

In that order ... everything else doesn't matter

If your user name is an indication of profession I could well see wanting to spare a watch from abuse.

Frankly it's your watch and it's yours to decide what to do with it.

As others have said, a watch is part of my daily attire. I can't even remember a time when I didn't wear a watch!!!

When I had only one Rolex (16610), which was 25 years ago... i never took it off, even in the shower, or even in the gym.... of course... when I only had one... that was before I found TRF

if you're afraid to lose it or have it stolen just insure it and wear it without being paranoid

Nope. I wear one daily. I love fine mechanical watches and will never tire of wearing one.
