Good Find??

Been lurking around here for a bit. I was on one of the local apps looking to see if there were any deals.

I found this being offered for $4k US. Gut instinct is it’s stolen or fake. I asked to meet at my Rolex dealer to authenticate, but haven’t heard back yet. Should I buy or move on?

Figured. If he’ll meet at my dealer then great. If not. Move on.

4k for a watch that retails for over 12k. Think about it

Wow that thing looks terrible

There're Rolex knockoffs that even AD wouldn't know. The only way to authenticate is to open backplate and look at the movement. If your AD willing to do this then I would say try. But my guess you would never got response from the seller after asking this.

my AD is a personal friend first. And then my AD, so probably willing to. We shall see. This time of year people are needing a few extra bucks...says it was handed down.

Wasn’t looking for a watch. My wife browses these sites and knows I’ve been looking to add to the collection.

Looks like someone tried to rip the flip part of the clasp off.

Trust your instincts here

A ‘good deal’ on a sports Rolex would be hundreds off the regular price. He could go into any dealer and get much more than he’s offering it for so do you really need to ask?

It’s always the same story too. I would have laughed when I read the handed down part but it’s getting past even being funny now.

That’s funny! If you buy this, call me — I’ve got some great oceanfront property in Nebraska.

THB I don't know enough to tell a fake from a real one and thats why I'll only buy from an AD

I do know one thing, If its to good to be true then it probably is.

100% fake. look at the rolex crown on the clasp, looks like it's made out of playdoh. Garbage, do not pass go, do not collect $100.00.

Too expensive for a fake and too cheap to be legit.

Sadly not true and bad advice.
Latest fakes are using "genuine" ROLEX movements.
We all need to step up a gear!
