Color divers

Anyone know of a dealer with a yellow, orange, or lime colored diver? Been told they are all gone but dunno if there are any floating around. Didn't think these would be so popular, my plan to get one on clearance failed miserably.

Checkout Chrono24, seems to be a bunch of the turquoise ones out there, also orange for close to list. Lime is selling for around 50% over list. Yellow looks pretty rare, didn’t see any of them in the US. Good luck!

prefer buying AP from dealers, seen too many botch jobs on polishing and "servicing" Dang, i didnt like the lime when it came out and now i do, should've picked it up when it was released.

By dealers you mean authorized dealers/boutiques? That’s gonna be hard then since all the funky colors you mentioned are discontinued. Maybe can get turquoise from a boutique if that’s funky enough.

yeah AD or boutiques. i dont like any of the second set of funky colors unfortunately. oh well i guess saves me 20k.

Lime (Pistachio?) is rare for the chrono because it is Switzerland boutique exclusive, I believe 50 where made, I'm not sure about the regular diver but I suspect it is also limited. Your right, it was much easier to obtain at one point but with the watch craze now everything is harder.

Out of interest, has anyone here picked up one of the “funky colour” divers released last year? I tried the turquoise and thought it was actually pretty cool - much better than the photos. And the purple looks good to me also

So for getting Coloured divers from AP/Dealers as far as I know.....

2016 - Diver Chrono
Lime Green - 50 only Geneva only. All gone as far as anyone knows.
Yellow, Orange, Blue - released 2016 - all limited to around 400 or so. Likely all gone.

2017 - Diver (no Chrono)
Lime Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue. Not limited numbers but were 2017 model and no longer produced. You might be lucky and find the odd one lurking around

2018 - Diver (no Chrono)
Purple - 50 only Geneva only. All gone as far as anyone knows.
Beige, Turquoise, Dark Green - not limited releases but were 2018 models. you might find the odd one again. Just pure luck but I think most have gone.

Wow, to think when they first came out, there was quite a bit of negative comments about these colours and how AP was going the wrong direction etc. And now from FD's post, seems like everything is all gone even though some are just limited releases. Wonder what happened...? If they are to be had, are they all trading at a slight premium?

Going to Chrono 24 (though others can assist with other information):

Diver Chrono's (2016) - they seem to be at a slight premium on resale (around 10%) except the lime green which is more which makes sense as limited

Diver (2017) - at retail, roughly

Diver (2018) - at retail but the purple one there seem very, very few around so hard to tell what they would be worth but looks like +10% at present but that assumes you could get it!

I think some of the negativity changed because some celebs got into the colours. I know one of the lime green diver chrono's was spotted on a second tier tennis person (of whom I had never heard but apparently was not badly ceeded) and I think I saw someone else had one. You only need a couple of celebs to jump on the bandwagon and then since there are not actually that many of some of these they disappear overnight!

At risk of being the party pooper these were not limited to 50 unless I recall incorrectly. It is the Diver Chrono from the previous year that was 50 only and Geneva only.
