Mis-Aligned Markers

I just purchased this 2508 and after getting home with the watch I noticed the markers aren't perfectly lined up with their corresponding dots. They're slightly offset to the left. I notice it most at the 11 o'clock marker

I've been looking at a bunch of other 570's and 2508's and it looks like this isn't extremely uncommon.

Is this mis-alignment evidence of a dial restoration? Are there original dials that left the Patek factory like this?

I bought this piece from a very reputable vintage Patek dealer who believes the dial to be original but would really appreciate some other opinions.

Thanks in advance!

I have had a few 570's and I have not experienced misaligned markers. I have also refinished dials, however they have all been done by Patek, with outstanding results!

I would say that it would be a result of poor dial refinishing. Patek would NEVER let a dial leave the factory like this!

I think the markers at 12 o'clock would bother me the most.

Wow, that dial needs repair / replacing.

Thanks so much for the replies!!

Does anyone know if the 2508 hour markers were ever glued instead of set using pins? I know the 2526 version 3's were glued on. Wondering if this could be the case for the 2508.

I'm thinking at some point in this watches life, the markers could have come un-glued, as they did with the 2526's, and were poorly re-attached.

Does that kill the watches value?

It's hard for me to give up on this example. The case is mint as is the movement, but if I'm fooling myself please let me know.
