TT Daytona.

Seriously considering a TT Daytona, white dial. That 18K bezel though scares me. Seen so many posts with some pretty serious gouges.

Wondering if Rolex may slap a ceramic bezel on the TT Daytona. Any whispers of that?

I think it is unlikely Rolex will put the Ceramic bezels on the two tone models, and even some PM models. On those models, the PM speaks and is supposed to, so removing it would be a mistake IMO.

We're more likely to see the new Daytona dials, which feature on Oysterflex, end up on full PM models with PM bracelets eventually along with the ceramic, but that would be about it IMO. I can't see them removing the PM bezels on the existing models only because of how popular Daytonas are with women, and the PM bezel definitely feminizes the watch.

I expect something new in the next future for the TT Daytona; it can be either a black ceramic bezel or the everose gold instead of the yellow gold. Anyway I personally like the current 116503 with black dial and I am seriously planning to get one before they will replace it.

Think an update is coming...the GMT and Sub all got the ceramic treatment so i am sure it's coming soon for the TT Daytona.

I don't think it would be a good look personally, TT daytona's have gold bezels, to slap a ceramic on it would change the watch completely.

If they slap a ceramic bezel on I'm happy that I got one before that happens.

An outstanding shot! I think that there is something special about the TT having a gold bezel.

Be cool if they could get a good ceramic match with the yellow gold color.

Here’s a 20 year old Daytona so you can see bezel wear. Never been polished just cleaned. Not a daily wearer but certainly worn hundreds of times over those years. The TT above is fantastic btw..

If they want to put a ceramic on gold, it has to be a YG with Black Dial.

That looks incredible. Is that just your normal gold dial as it looks very tone down there or it could be the filter.

I love the two which tie the dial into the bracelet. I wear mine on a strap a lot to help preserve the bracelet. It also helps make the watch super comfortable. Lovely watch you've got with that dial. I also really like the gold bezel!!!

They hold up so much better than you’d expect

Look at really old YG Daytona’s

Plus the new PM bezels after about 2014/15 have laser etched numbers that are more resistant to fading when polished.

Worse case you can always replace the bezel for a few k

Honestly I recently sold the exact same watch because the bezel scared the S*** out of me. Traded for a tt skydweller the fluted bezel works a lot better for me personally.

Thank you

Gold is really hard to photograph - but it's the champagne dial version. Without direct light it is quite 'toned down' as you see there, once any direct light hits it you get the sunburst effect.

I've only seen a very few pictures where the watch looks as good as it does IRL. It is incredibly hard to photograph in a way where you get the real life shine and pop that it has.

I love this watch.

Me too, I had some great deals on TT Daytona and skip them all due to bezel. The current bezel looks so much dated and boring. The touch or ceramic would change it all for me. Hardly will they make it as it would look very much like the current Daytona on oysterflex ..

The bezel on my daily wear 116505 is not a problem at all. I’d much rather have gold than ceramic. But you could probably source a ceramic from a YG Oysterflex model and fit it to the TT.

Other option is to just replace the gold bezel if it gets too worn out (this will take way longer than you think). They seem to run $1-2k on C24.

I would love to see this watch in real life - pictures never really do two-tone watches justice!
