Buying use Rolexes

Trying to help a friend buy a used ladies Rolex DateJust. The websites I would trust - DavidSW, Watchbox, Torneau (reluctantly) - do not have the model she's interested in. Are there any other major used Rolex dealers you guys would recommend?

Bobs usually is pretty good. Or almost all of our trusted sellers here have online sites too.

I think Chrono24 is a good place to go if you shop trusted/verified sellers. I got a Speedmaster there and when I called the Omega boutique they ran the serial and verified it but also stated that they recommended people to Chrono24 often.

I'd try contacting ponycar350 (Jared)

I've never done business with him but I've seen him list dozens of ladies Rolexes here over time.

The rolexes I’ve seen at Tourneau sometimes have a bad polish job

i get why people buy from dealers but man, some of them polish the life out of a rolex to make it "pretty"

Look at the for sale section on TRF BOUTIQUES.

These are all reputable sellers with a stellar reputation and will give you a worry free transaction.
They will be able to source whatever model you like.

Forget the platforms as chrono24 or ebay. You would still need to vet every seller.
With the BOUTIQUE sellers that has already been done for you by many TRF members

If you're willing to pay a little more (i.e. retail price) then just ask an AD to order the model you want. ADs can still order unpopular models, and a ladies datejust is by definition unpopular.

Another vote for Bob's. As mentioned, the price may be a little higher, but no higher in my opinion then any of the other trusted dealers.

And I dont mind paying a little bit more for piece of mind.

I also suggest reaching out to Trusted Sellers here on the forum.

Perhaps contact ErikSzper (representing radcliffejewelers.com ) directly.

From the websites, there is also jaztime is also reputable (I have not bought from them myself.)

I saw Jaztime website shows a lot of watches at a pretty good price, but I don't think they have all the watches that they advertise. They must try to get the buyer first and goes looking for the watch later.

Do you think Jaztime is really reputable dealer?

I check watchrecon first to see all the forum listings and well knows guys like DavidSW, Takuya, Sohais, Au_911tt, Jared/Ponycar, etc. Then I check chrono24 next. Lot of places like Crown and Caliber and Bobs list their watches on chrono24 also.

I have no affiliation with them nor have I bought any from them. I know they have been in business for a long time, and they do have an ebay store and a physical store in Orange County. In fact the only reason I even remembered them was that I came across their ebay store a few days ago when I was searching for something on ebay. I have no reason to believe they are not reputable.

I bought my 114060 from tourneau.com. Cheaper than all other sites, comes with warranty, and looked brand new. Also came the next day. Would recommend.

I bought 5 watches from Collector's (4pm and 1ss) they are reputable and usually have the best prices on the internet. https://www.collectors1946.com/colle.../lady-datejust I've only done in person transactions but assume there wouldn't be a problem purchasing online.
