Congratulations!
I have the new LV as well...but i am losing -1 sec per day! Not fair (just kidding! LOL!) Wearing most of the day and in the watch box face up while I slept. After 7 days I was -7 sec slow. Will see longer term once watch settled in a bit but so far the watch is pretty accurate! |

Just an update - still bang on!
On the winder it loses about half a second a day but gains it back when I rest it on its 9 o’clock side every other night. |

New Kermit Accuracy
Congratulations, nice to hear.
Your watch is very well regulated and adapted to your wearing pattern. Can you measure the amplitude of the caliber? |

Yes it's accurate but like all movements it's how well they are regulated that matches the owners wearing habits donates the overall accuracy. All the Rolex movements since the 15,30,31, series when regulated correctly could run the same.

Yes Gravity and resting positions could affect mechanical watches the most thats why they are tested in 5 different positions at the COSC.And in those different positions there will be very tiny deviations in the timekeeping.Plus there are many others such as total mainspring power-reserve,metal expansion and contraction, slight temperature variations, subtle changes in lubrication and friction, shocks on the wrist, and so on.We all should remember this the escapement of a mechanical watch in 24 hours pushes the gears 432,000 times plus there are 86,400 seconds in a day.
