Interested in this piece but seller doesn't have the box and papers which is not really a big deal given the year and model of the watch
Seller doesn't know when was the last time it was serviced but claims that it still keeps the time.Now my concern is about the dial as I believe that's not the original one and might be from a later model not sure if it's an authentic Rolex dial as well.Anything else that I have to look for and how much should I offer I'm thinking around $2000-2500 Thanks in advance [/IMG][/IMG] |

Everything I am seeing is original. The dial is called Ivory anniversary dial

Oh ok maybe I've never seen that before on a 1601 because even the seller didn't now if it was the original dial.

Ivory Anniversary dial. Not super common, but by no means rare. at that time point Rolex was making anniversary dials, pyramid dials, chevy bow tie dials, ...
