Very nice! I would have left the green hand and green gmt letters on dial, just so it appears different. Very well done IMO.

Nicely done

Did you ask them how they removed your bezel and also put the new one on? I know ceramic could be an issue. Did the new one come with the silicone ring or did you reuse the one off the black bezel? I thought they are one time use?

If their was an easy way to change bezels I honestly would pay the money to source a green LV ceramic bezel to swap now and then in my sub c.

Honestly, that first pic of the GMT2LN on jubilee looks like the real star of the show. The lab-made BLRO is quite beautiful but I just couldn't live with knowing the "truth".

But yes, this seems like you had fun and enjoy what you've created. It's another more interesting aspect of this expensive hobby that has been consumed in recent years by scarcity and speculation.

I was going to make a video of the process but starting chatting with Mike, while Sal was working his magic. I did buy an extra nylon ring but Sal told me it didnt need to be replaced as the original looked pretty good.

You can only use 1.5mm spring bars.

I was having a hard time not falling in love with the black GMT and jubilee bracelet. It really looks amazing but the moment I did the conversion, I fell in love with the Pepsi and completely forgot about the black GMT.

I still liked the black bezel on 69200 better.

Congrats on the conversion. It's been a long road but turned out great.

Looks like a 3 series BMW with a fake M3 badge on.

For the untrained eye, you'll be potentially cool and loaded.
For the guy who knows a little about cars, he's just going to shake his head in disbelief.

lol

I share your enthusiasm and glad you scored. But, isn´t this a no-no in rolex book ? maybe not you have made public the doers names so what is all this we hear about RSCs turning watches back to original and that original ruined parts must be returned to Rolex so they can be replaced etc etc ?

This sorta puts into perspective how much hype fuels the BLRO craze - all it really is is a bezel and a few other bits and bam! Its now the watch everyone wants. I know its not that simple but it really makes you wonder what drives this sort of craze. The human mind is truly an enigma!

How is it putting an m3 badge on a 3 series when both of the watches retail for around the same price?

Now the Pepsi is in SS I am OK with this mod with OEM parts. Well done to find a real bezel insert, probably harder than a SS Pepsi.

How much did it cost?

Looks good. Mike and Sal are great and we are lucky to have them in our backyard. If you look at Mike’s GMT, he also has a Pepsi bezel on his personal watch so it can be swapped if you gave access to a blue / red bezel.
