New project underway

Well, not much to say other than I recently picked up this bag boy. Time to breathe some life back into it.

Lovely HR marker dial patina and so-called (pinks and greens) 'stardusting' on that 550.

Personally, I'd fill and colour match the hands and I'd Lazer (esp if other Lazer fill work needed) the bezel and repaint

I've found to my surprise that original 550 bezels are at least twice the price of 570's. Service 550's are slightly different).

Has it been run over by a car ? - That top left lug looks both squashed and badly twisted.... presume it might need quite a bit work on it !

That's a hard life! Will be interesting to see it brought back to life!

Is the movement ok, with whatever trauma it went through to do that to the lug?

That case looks nice except for that mangled 10 o’clock lug. Cool project Yuri, looking forward to seeing your updates

Hope whoever was wearing this one escaped unscathed.
