Help identify this Rolex
Greeting from New Zealand gentlemen,
Name's Leeann I hope I can tap into your vast knowledge reserve on this case. There is this one Rolex, advertised as being in the 1960s circa, w ith red leather strap & spring loaded winder, 3cms diameter. "Precision" word printed on the facia. I can't make out any other word underneath the crown symbol. No other information is available. No serie number either. The photos are the closest shot I can find. Can you help me identify this watch please and whether it worths $500 NZD (~$300USD) ? I'm an amateur when it comes to watches and all I want is to buy something famous for my mom. The seller, from gut feeling and other items she sell, seem to be an old person. ANy comment much appreciated |

It is a gents watch. The old manual wind Rolex Speedking. It is probably from the end 50's somewhere in that age. watch has a 30 mm case without the crown.
Watch looks like it needs a good clean and a service. Price is good id buy it for that price. Box does not belong with the watch might even be a fake one. Keep in mind that you have to spend some money on it to get it in a good condition. |
