New bracelet

So Ive tried to search and couldnt find any real information so I am sorry if this is redundant.

For a Sub and a Skydweller what size is the right bracelet and where are people buying different ones? Im looking for some rubber and some leather ones if I can find them.

You’re looking at lug width.

Rolex Submariner - 20mm
Rolex sky dweller steel - 22mm
Rolex sky dweller precious metal - 21mm

Thank you. I'm starting a Christmas list for my wife to buy me. Now I've just got to find a leather one for my Sky Dweller

Be aware that Rolex likes to sit the springbar holes really close to the case in more recent models, which limits strap options. I can't speak to the Sky-Dweller, but a ceramic sub will tear up a regular strap that isn't on the thin side. The strap will rub against the case and shred against the sharply defined edges, leaving visible wear. A nice chunky strap might not physically fit in the first place.

So, with your wife doing the buying, she'll want to buy only straps that are guaranteed to fit a ceramic sub (and probably the same for the Sky-D).

(A piece of metal tape over the case edge can let a strap rub against it with much less damage, but strap movement will still be restricted and it'll still start to show rub wear over time.)

Thanks for the info Likesthrshiny I'll be sure to just show her some specific ones I want and tell her she has to get those not anything different.

If anyone has a lead on leather for the sky dweller let me know
