Love mine. To be honest, as a white dial steel Rolex, I prefer it to my 116500

Love mine, paid just over $2k new over 20 years ago and the beginning of my long term AD Relationship.

Love the watch, most comfortable and best time keeping watch I have.

Picked one up last month from a TS and love it! But they don't come cheap anymore.

I think black had become the new underdog. Cheers to my polar friends.

I can't explain it, really, but there's just something about it and the Everest strap that really rings my bell.

I recently had it serviced at RSC in Toronto, and after getting it back and wearing it again for a few days it reminded me of how great it is. The GMT hand is useful (for me, the only “tool” on a watch that I actually use) and the style and colour of the watch goes with everything.

In my view this is probably the most underrated Rolex sports model out there today, and such great value for the money! I’m seeing these sell as low as 4500!
I have not found one for $4500 on 12 months - but agree great piece!

Up until a few months ago, $4500 was selling without the bracelet or one that was just beaten up badly. Even the beaten ones are now north of $5k USD.

Agreed no bracelt or rough. I found a rough one for 3800 but ROUGH. They are high like the rest of this hobby right now. I have patience, let’s see if my patience pays off or I watch the ship sail.

I absolutely love my explorer 2 polar 16570.

It’s been all over the world and to the top of some mountains and back down really fast.

It really does fly below the radar. It’s not flashy at all and most non watch people have no idea what it is.
