I'm sure it's preowned and I'm sure they'll get the price for it. Reputable dealer selling a fairly unobtainable watch...

They probably made up a sale on that one. They will sell it to friend then come back and buy it and now pre owned with jacked up price. This modus was explained by a reseller on youtube.

Tourneau in Vegas Forum Shops on Aug. 9 had a black ceramic Daytona in the pre-owned section. Asking $25K with guidance that there would not be price movement.

Uhhh.......

Makes sense to me - a watch seller selling a watch available for immediate purchase at market value... Not sure why this is out of the realm of normal.

Wonder what the warranty card says.... My guess is they throw it out to avoid seeing that it came from the same AD.

I was just in there. The watch looks like is polished by 3rd party.

They will name it the person who bought it. But that person is part of the act. He buys it but sell it but the ad gets the money when sold for a mark up.

I forgot if it’s jubilee or oyster, I didn’t pay much attention to it because of the price. I went there to look a watch for my wife. And they’re selling a yacthmaster for 7k ... sorry I can’t load pictures... the app won’t let me.

I am happy for current owners who are seeing their watches appreciate. Myself included.
I am saddened for folks who save for years for their Rolex and are either shut out of the market or getting reamed.

I guess you can't have it both ways. But one thing is certain...the market WILL shift.

If someone is willing to pay $18k for then good for them. Capitalism for you.

So $18k for a BLNR Oyster. Guess we can close that thread speculating that prices have declined!

It's nice that they took the time to run the thing through a polisher first.
(Seriously, what happened to that poor watch case?!)

Wow they polished the watch to death.

Unless there was a huge gash/sent that needed fixing, they really butchered a modern Rolex. To make things worse they're trying to sell it for $18k???? Ouch!!

Look at how round the lugs look.. not pretty

Can't believe they're trying to sell this for $18k. Market price should be much lower
