YouTube has instructional videos on how to for the Daytona.
Would check out the DavidSW one.

Surprised you bought one of the most coveted watches without researching this first....little perplexing.

Boggles the mind.

"chicagowatchman": make sure you read up on how the pushers work. Some chrono movements do not like if you push the wrong thing while it's running (should be safe with the 4130). A simple google/youtube search will work better and would have gotten you a faster answer than posting here.

I've gotta say, I'm also surprised you didn't know how a chrono works before plopping down what I'm sure was close to double retail.

I'll assume that this is a serious question.

The "little dials" run themselves, one counts the minutes the stopwatch hand runs, and the other counts hours. The seconds sub-dial runs all the time.

To start the stopwatch, unscrew the lock-nut and press the pusher. The only one that will work is the top one, it starts things. Press it a second time and it stops, then again to start, and so on. The bottom pusher only does one thing, it resets the stopwatch hand to zero.

Is this really a serious question or you're just joking with us?

12 years on TRF with almost 2k posts and you're talking about "little dials"?

Everyone does things their own way but if I was buying a Rolex Daytona and spending $12k MSRP -$30k grey on a watch i'd have researched it to death

But that's just me :)

Y’all so mean... OP just don’t use the pushers. Pull out the stop watch on the iPhone. Easier to read. More legible.

I think it makes perfect sense. This is exactly the type who would pay $26-28K for a white dial 116500- someone who just “has to have it” at any cost because it’s the most hyped watch at the moment...

Honestly, what surprises me more is no box, warranty card etc....especially being that particular reference and today’s market....

This is one reason Daytona’s are so high.
Folks buying them for looks over function.

Good one - almost fell for it.

So when I don't push the buttons (that's "buh-uns" for millennials) and the 2 little hands in the top little dials don't move, does that mean I need service because they're not moving?

I'm guessing so because they should be moving even if I don't push the buh-uns.

Was thinking the same. How can such a new release have no box and papers !?

I know a few don’t value them, but wow....

Seriously, Jay? Looks and function with a Daytona?!? It doesn't even have the date, leave alone legibility!

I would venture to say that, 80% are just getting it for to hype, investment, and speculation. So I’m not surprised.
