New (to me) GMT II 'Swiss' only

Hi all,

I bought this about a week ago and got the chance to do a few pics this weekend.

As you'll see, it's not perfect but I specifically wanted an unmolested example. It has a few dings, the bracelet has a little stretch and the bezel's fading nicely. Also came with all boxes and papers etc.

Apologies for the quality of the pics - I really must replace my 7 year old camara!

Nice pics, no need to replace your camera. I bought a 16750 recently which I knew in advance had a recently installed service dial (looks like yours but not Master II.) I've heard others say the plain "Swiss" marking on the dial indicates a service dial. So it may not be "unmolested" after all. Who knows? How old is it?

Nice!! I also have one with "SWISS" dial but it is a GMT1 model 16700 from late 90's.
I hope will post some pics soon on this forum.

It's a 1999. The chap I bought it from (well known in UK Rolex circles - see sweepinghand site) is a bit of an expert on all things vintage rolex and assures me the 'Swiss' only dial was used for approx' an 18 month run around 1999-2000.
