Congrats, great looking watch.

My 10 year olds watch! She never takes it off . Except last year at camp when a similar one she had stopped working. When I picked her up , I said where’s your watch? Um dad it stopped working and I threw
it out. First , I wasn’t happy that she threw it out but after seeing this thread I’m
glad it wasn’t a nautilus!

Lovely move! She is 9?

I ask, because I was gifted pieces as I accomplished different things in life, and plan to do the same for my daughters.

Yes. We have a different interpretation of the patek slogan... we believe in sharing the experience with her. She will remember the experiences we had.

I dont believe in hoarding your money till you die...its pointless. Its more fun spending it while im alive.

Her current collection is a...
Modded skx007, baby g-shock, baby nautilus 4700, nautilus 7118. I made her sell her rolex dj 26 TT with diamonds to fund her 4700. She may move her 4700 given she will be so happy with her 7118 she wont be wearing the 4700. It will depend on what we can move it for... probably take a bath on it.

wise man.

Some of my most treasured items i received as a kid from my parents. They are crap things though so i dont really use them anymore but i still have them. If it was something like that though, not even necessarily a watch i would still use it today.
