Misrepresentation of Goods - Comments

While the pictures of the watch appear genuine, seller states (see below) that it comes with box and papers. But if you read further, watch is in the "original box" with a certificate of appraisal and papers.

First, according to the appraissal, the watch is a K-series (2002) but it is showing a newer version box.

Second, a buyer would think the original papers (COA) would be included but the seller only shows the picture of the appraissal.

"I offer for sale an 18K / Stainless Rolex Submariner with gold through the buckle and solid end links. The watch is 100% authentic Rolex and comes with the box and papers. The Rolex is in the original box with a Certificate of Appraisal and Garantie. The Appraised value is $8,500.00 plus tax. Just purchased in December - need to sell quickly due to recent medical expenses. Make an offer! Thanks!"

I think he's referring to the new retail price on TT Subs, Terry. I've always gotten a kick out of how just about every posting on ebay for a Day-Date has somewhere in the listing... "THIS WOULD COST YOU $25,000 BRAND NEW!!!!!!!11!!" as if that has anything to do with the stretched out 25 year old piece they're trying to sell you, lol.
