The experience from buying somthing new and from an AD. Its hard to explain. I just like walking in there and buying from an AD. Makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Did you find out if they make it with the oyster? I cant find it online anywhere with black diamond dial.

If you buy it from Steph, youll only be paying 280.00 over what gil is selling it to you for. Thats a freaking steal in my opinion. I say go for it.

I feel there is merit in building a relationship with a knowledgeable watch retailer (not jewelry store). It isn't just the potential discounts, but they will go the extra mile to make you happy, take care of minor issues, etc. I was having trouble with the hacking on my SD. Since they have 3 FT watchmakers on staff they immediately opened it up anc checked it out N/C. I always request a timing check and pressure check on a new purchase and they are happy to do it. If I want the watch timing changed they will do it N/C, even if it is within COSC. I didn't like +5 so they regulated it to +1.

Those little perks are worth something. Besides, I can always go in and try on whatever I want anytime.

I have just spoken to Gil and realize there were some misinterpretations on my part to what he had posted on the other forum. I regret this. Where I go from here-i don't know.

You can have my Black Diamond Dial DJ bought new from an AD on May 16th 2007 for $1725 off of retail!! $4300. No tax as well of course.. That should make you think twice three times...

Includes box, papers, tags and polishing cloth.

You can put on an Oyster bracelet, have two bracelets to switch around and still save money. I just got it back from my AD today after having it cleaned and polished by thier Rolex certified watchmaker.

PM me if interested.

Don't go anywhere, stay here. I don't think you misinterpreted it wrong at all, you were spot on.
