That’s an amazing lineup of timepieces. My eye was initially drawn to Box 1 — those are some highly desirable pieces that are no longer available. Practically speaking, though, I’m a Box 2 kinda guy — the bulletproof ceramic bezels, glidelock enabled updated bracelets, etc. all appeal to me, not to mention the diversity of dial colors.

Oh wait ... did you actually want us to help you pick an empty box to be used for storage? Either will do — all I can see are 4 slots anyway.

Box 2. If I could swap out the Milgaus for the GMT that'd be near perfect

Box 1 for me. Kinda funny I have the 114060 and a Hulk or GMTII is my next watch and then I would like the SD43 instead of a standard seadweller.

think an explorer I would fit nicely in box 1; and maybe d blue in box 2?
Great way to round out the collection. Those 2 additional watches would be great additions. I’m probably a box#2 guy although I’d love to sneak in the coke gmt

It's a close call, but box 2 is slightly ahead.

I am not suprised by the results...although we may hanker after the older references, we have come to accept and love the newer ones just as much.

I bought watches in box 1 between Sept 2005 and Dec 2008 for approximately £11000.
LV £2650 (d series); GMT2 £2790 (z series); sub £2790 - 10% (m series); and seadweller £3300 - 10% (m series).

So when is the right time to buy? The answer is always now...as it doesn't get any cheaper!

Thank you for reading and adding your comments.
