Schumi Titanium vs Titanium 44

Hi all,

After quite some time, I checked out pricing for the Schumi Titanium (my favourite one). Seems they're selling for well above retail pricing. I really love this watch, will the market price continue to increase? Demand seems ever present, yet supply is limited to 1000.

Skip it and go for normal titanium 44?

Leaning towards, get the Schumi- value will continue to go up. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers!

If you can afford the entry fee then I’d go for the Schumacher.

Thanks for that!
Schumi looks so unique....love it. Think that's the direction I will go in.

I think the Schumi is a lovely design, one of my favourite APs. I've been toying in my mind with the notion of an RG one, but it would take my individual watch spend to a new level I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with.

Don't think prices are coming down on them, I thought about getting the RG preowned once but thought I'd wait a couple of years to get the price to around £40K, then it got discoed and price went into orbit, same with the Ti. Not worth the £50K now, I'd get the 44.

If they were the same price I would still go ti44.
Only offshore on rubber I would take over a 44 is the RB2, that’s it.

one of my biggest regrets was not picking up the Ti shumi when it first came out at a slight discount. AP just had a price decrease on the regular production models and didnt think the Ti shumi would hold in price when the RG 44mm could be had for the same price or less.

Get the Ti shumi. Very unique/sporty dial, Ti APs always seem to be popular and you get the Cermet bezel that they dont make anymore. Its a winner.

Fair enough. Although I'd say given the fact that you won't lose on the watch, it is kind of like parking money provide you don't break it lol.

Some of the pricing is ridiculous, but I feel I can get one on the 'cheap' side from Dubai. So if I can get it just below normal market pricing, I think it is a no brainer.

All amazing models. Ti44 is nice, for sure a tough choice given the price difference.

Ti Schumi seems to be the most popular for sure.

One of the big regrets I had watch wise was not getting the TI Schumi when it was at 42k euros, about one year later I was decided on getting one, but prices were much more, 52-57, while I had the money I found that to be too much for my comfort m, if you are ok with it then get it, probably the coolest ROO’s out there.
While I really like the TI44, I love the Schumi

If you can get one for £40K it's probably worth it, but not more for me, as I remember when these were under 30.

Price is definitely a factor. The way I see it, the watch will only go up in value, so, unless you lose/smash it (and you don't have insurance), you can't really lose on it. Demand will always be there and supply will always be limited (and decrease).

Fingers crossed, I've put out the feelers, I should be able to grab one for the 55-60k USD mark in mint condition with box/papers. Will update as things move along.

AP should consider a new racing inspired LE as there must be pent up demand

what about the values of RB2, Grand Prix, Jarno Trulli?

RB2 is tough to get
GP and JT are a bit soft, but pretty watches.

Beautiful.

GP FC + Schumi Ti = perfect.

Schumi for Mon - Fri. GP FC for the weekends.

The theme for Schumi reminds of an old school Porsche.

GP FC screams Ferrari all over it.

Haha I like the way you think.
Although the GP works fine with New P-Cars too....

The Schumi is a grail watch for me. For now, i'll have to settle for the Ti44.

Money well invested.

Looking forward to pictures of your GP and Schumi.

RG44 and CE44 will complete the 44mm collection.
