Skeleton 15407 Question

Just wanted to get the forums opinion on having both the RG and SS in the same colllection? Is it redundant? Is it perfect? Which one would you keep if you were only going to keep or buy one?

I have some watches in gold with gold bracelet because only option but in general I prefer steel... I have seen both but own the steel version. Personally I think owning both is redundant

Redundant, and you'll lose your eyesight.

Depends on the size and scope of your collection. I think they’re two of the best watches out there.

That’s it rub it in....

Some of us are still struggling to get hold of one let alon both

I think the SS is the nicer model as the RG accents on the dial give a nice contrast, but then saying that the finish of the RG does look sublime!

In a diverse enough collection having both would work

PS: you do realise it doesn’t say RM on the dial

RG over the SS. The skeleton dial makes for a dressier/more exclusive look and think it works better with precious metal. If AP made a 15407 in PT it would be perfection.

I'd forget the RG and stick to the SS...Looks better to me and the opposite of what was said above. The openworked has an industrial look to it making SS the perfect metal.

I’ll jump in the SS bandwagon as well. I’m personally not much of a rose gold / yellow gold kind of person for the RO. It’s a lot of bling for me.

The SS really makes perfect highlight and combo.

A bit redundant to have the same model in two types of metals.

This has pretty much been my thought process. Was curious as to what others thought.

i cant think of a situation where i would want to wear an openworked and i would not choose the SS. If i had both the RG would never get worn.

You obviously love the openworked. Even if it may be redundant, I don’t think that’s reason enough to not have both.

As far as RG vs. SS, it is so subjective. I’m a huge fan of precious metal and love my RG, but constantly regret passing up the 15407 in SS.

Bottom line...if it makes you happy, have both in your collection. Fortunately, it’s a quality problem to have to think about.

Might be in the minority but I prefer the PM model.
Not redundant though between the two. Daily the SS and PM for special occasions.
