Phishing Email scam

Hey Everyone,

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but I didn't see anything about this specifically.

I've have been getting regular emails inquiring about watches I've listed Rolex and no-Rolex that end up being a phishing attempt.

The persons email almost always is nicknamed something along the lines of 'Watch Collector" or 'AP Collector' etc, and the first email is almost always them asking if the watch is still available. Regardless of my response of it being available or sold, they continue the conversation.

If available:

"Whats your best price?
"(price given)"

Then without fail the following email is something along these lines:
"Are you interested in any trade? You can check out my collections and view other ads, (link to said collection)"



or



After inspecting the link it always has some other root url than to Rolex Forums and then later in the url it has /rolexforums.com/forum......

It takes you to a phony page to enter your login info to Rolex Forums and the scam is complete.


Sorry if this is a repeat of another post someone has already put up, but I suppose if I haven't seen the other post, it's likely other have missed it also.

Be careful and check the url! The first thing should be rolexforums.com/xxxxx
