Melrose Jewelers

My husband wanted to make sure that he bought me a rolex that I would love and that he would be proud that I was wearing, so after researching and calling a bunch of different websites for a few months we picked out the perfect rolex watch for me. We went with Melrose Jewelers after reading some very good reviews online, and calling them several times. They were always really responsive and patient with us. Their sales associate even suggested some other websites for us to look at to help us compare prices and services. I would highly recommend Melrose Jewelers if you are interested in buying rolex watches.

I beg to disagree on this matter. Their items are way overpriced and one can get that same item brand new from an AD with an even better price.

I looked at Melrose very briefly, and did a search right here at Rolex Forums where Melrose has been discussed.

What I read here convinced me to stay very far away from them.

Another "recommendation", parts of it are word for word to the OP's post.

Great company!! My husband wanted to buy me a Rolex for our 5th anniversary and we made the decision together so after researching and calling a bunch of different websites we decided to buy #404 from MelroseJewelers.com, the Ladies Rolex Super President.
They had some great reviews online and were were responsive.
When the watch came in the mail, it was gorgeous to say the least. Mike and MIke are both great guys.

Icon20 Melrose Jewelers

I think this place is a fraud. I looked at a picture of a ladies Datejust on its site, and the back of the watch was engraved with the words "Original Rolex..." Genuine Rolex watches are smooth on the back. No engraving authenticating the watch. Buyer beware!

...the EARLY 6917's etc had the engraving on the case backs. The NEWER ones do NOT.

...PERSONALLY, I do NOT endorse this company.

DFB, you are mistaken. Some of the women's watches did have stampings on the caseback.

But, as noted, nobody here is impressed by this company.

There is a Melrose in the UK...is that the one? Very expensive. As someone has already said, you can get cheaper brand new and at an AD if you are a good haggler.

Out of those listed, I would go with Bernard Watches in Austin, Texas.

What are you looking for?

I second that, I've dealt with Jeff Bernard in the past and he's a stand up guy.

You can buy cheaper else where, but to me peace of mind is worth that little extra more.

Google searching "Krishan Agarwal" brings up some unsavory stuff going on in India, which would explain the India Spam thing.....although I am unsure as to how uncommon a name that would be in India, so I have no idea if that would be the same Krishan Agarwal.

Looking up the address shows that they are in a strip mall, not very nice looking, anchored by a Trader Joe's. While I will not post here, it appears that Mr. Krishan Agarwal lives in a not so nice area of Los Angeles, in an apartment.

I would certainly be very cautious dealing with these folks, and if I can get by there in person, will advise further.

Between N. Fuller and N. Poinsettia, apparently in the Trader Joe's Strip Mall, south side, I believe.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but these guys are back and are on a tear through ratings all over the net.
They are paying people $5 to hide from all the negative reviews. It is highly unethical and pretty dishonest. This thread came up in a search so I though I should post new info about them here.

Below is what I have been posting because I know I would be pissed if they ripped me off.

DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS THEY ARE PAYING PEOPLE TO REVIEW THEIR STORE. Using Amazons Mechanical turk Melrose Jewlers paid $5 for each positive review on every website imaginable.
krishan agarwal was inundated with tons of negative customer feedback and spent Thousands on all these positive reviews. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The actual post where they are paying money for positive reviews is below.

THIS PARTICULAR HIT IS FOR POSTING ON GOOGLE REVIEWS. 1) GO TO XXX//maps.googleXcom/ 2) SEARCH "Melrose Jewelers 655 S. flower" 3) CLICK ON THE 1ST ONE THAT POPS UP (655 S. FLOWER ST.) 4) Please post a detailed and candid review about your experience with our company. Also, If you see any false and defamatory posts about us please FLAG or REPORT them to the site. Please provide a link to your posted review below. Please provide any feedback if you need as well so we can make this easier and better for you and us!! Thank you for your help!

Melrose Jewelers is a scam

If you do not believe me, look at the dates from all the reviews, they are all within the last three-five days..
