I also wear a BB58 routinely on a leather strap. The BB is slightly smaller in diameter and does show smaller on my wrist. The 16600 is 2.5mm thicker than the BB, so it does stand a bit taller. This is primarily because of the "bubble" caseback.

I do not like watches over 40mm, and I do not like tall watches, but the 16600 is a perfect mix, just tall enough to have great presence, but not a tumor on the wrist.

I'll try to take photos of both this afternoon for you, if you'd like.

Yeah, I was surprised that the actual case on the BB is thicker, but the bubble back and the bezel on the 16600 is the heft. I had never made this comparison before myself.
