Last June my Rolex AD texted me and asked me to drop by. I did and they had this for me. I hadn’t even asked for one.

Local boutique, walked in and got a SubC LN 3 years ago, it used to be so easy.. Stopped by once in a while and then decided to get a BLNR early last year before things got really crazy, got one within 2 weeks, and then an LVc 4 months later (3 month wait, totally worth it as it is my favorite watch and I still can't stop looking at it). Just waiting for my white Daytona now, but that one will be a longer wait (hope not too long)! During that time I've built a great relationship with a sales rep.

Walked into my local AD and tried on the Hulk and black sub (back in 2014). Was unsure about the price. The SA told me to wait and he will bring something for me from the back. He came back with a Kermit that a customer had just traded in and sold it to me at half the price of a current sub!

I'm in an area without a major city so I'm not sure if that impacts availability.

I picked up my 114060 in May 2018 and in the case there was a 116610LN, 116710LN, and other stainless steel.

I checked in often after that and at other points there were always subs and I even saw a 126600 in the case.

Most recently, I went in and there was a 126660 Deep Blue that I saw and instantly fell in love with. I bought it in January 2019.

I went in a couple times over the last month and the only stainless steel in the case was an Explorer.

Where is this AD that has all this stock?

2 tones and PM are easy. I even get discounts on those with my AD. It the SS models that are difficult

Yea I know. I’m saying that My AD had a lot of stock up until these last couple months. He last 2 times I’ve been in it’s only two tones. I don’t consider that desirable stock. As stated earlier over the course of the last year I’ve seen 116610LN, 126600, 116710LN and other SS.
