That could be the nickname. ‘ugly sister’. I can’t wait to hear how many people are on the ‘wait list’ for it. I’m sure my local AD will say he has 500 people waiting for it yet only 1% of us here actually want it.

I like it. But I still prefer the Batman, which I own. Funny that some have said there is no way they would use green on the 24 hour hand.

I have no clue what they were thinking. Why not introduce something more jazzy? I guess it'll sell anyway so they dont care.

Would prefer an all black bezel as opposed to half black, half grey.

Thought on the new GMT-Master II Coke Zero?

Would have preferred an all black bezel…the decision to have this colour must have been pushed thru late on a Friday afternoon…

Coke Zero… lol

It’s definitely not something I want but I guess it’s more interesting to look at vs the previous all black bezel GMT

In reality, GRNR looks more like all black/same tone then two colour bezel, at least that was the case with TT. This will probably be the same case.

Tasteless. I prefer this dial combination on PM or TT references.

I like it for a specific reason/purpose. Will fit into my rotation just fine for that no-nonsense, gada, watch. I’d have this vs a black dial/bezel Sub any time.

Agreed!

I don't like it....of course somebody will love it.....I wanted a SS coke....at least I still have my old D serial coke.
All the new models look to be in the high end range 30k on up...too much money for an old retired lady....
I would have liked to see some more DJ models .....always next year.

Kind of funny that one color (red) would break the internet, yet grey is considered meh.

At the end of the day, it is just a color.

For me, the only disappointment in this is that the GMT hand and dial text should have been grey, not green.

As it is, it looks like the 116710LN from the last decade but with a bezel swap. That looked awesome with the green GMT hand and it made sense because it was the first ceramic GMT and the green is obviously the Rolex color.

They should have given this a grey GMT hand to match. I think the 116710LN will become very popular again. It was a real sleeper.

Will likely be a big hit with the color blind. I personally would turn down if allocated.

I kinda like it. But I think they missed an opportunity not putting it on jubilee.

That would have put it on my radar.

EDIT: Oops went back to check and I see it's an option. Well, then...

I’ve been saying for years now that Rolex will ultimately find a metallic looking ceramic to replace the polished SS bezels. I think this new grey is the next step towards that. If you like stainless bezels, buy them up while you can. I like this new GMT Master. I’d be more excited about it though if Rolex wasn’t playing demand games.

I’m not a fan either. But I’m a less of a fan of that forced nickname. Coke is a great watch. Don’t cheapen it by calling this thing a Coke Zero.

I’ll wait to see it in real, but probably not a fan. It’s muted, but not in a good way.

I don't think the lack of contrast between the grey and black works well given the purpose of the bi-color bezel. That said, I wouldn't be a fan of the "Coke" either.

I'll take my BLNR everyday of the week. I guess it is better than the Omega "Oreo", despite the great contrast, I don't like white bezels.

Thought on the new GMT-Master II Coke Zero?

I like it. But certainly not as much as the BLNR and BLRO. I think the big problem is that there was big demand for the COKE, but this is what they got instead. So now people are unhappy about it.

I prefer the shine on the aluminum - the 16710 Pepsi beats any of the variants of the ceramic Pepsi dials imo. Same for the old v new Kermit.

Would love the ability to swap out like we had, but cant see Rolex giving us that option these days. They opinion would be "if you want a new color, buy a new watch".

People still managed to tell multiple time zones with the all black 116710LN.

Agree on the BLNR though. Looks amazing on wrist.

They are very smart, instead of introducing the coke to Rolex, they release it for Tudor in order to increase their sales.

Tudor is the testing ground, for sure.

That Coke GMT from Tudor is going to sell a lot. Love the gold numbers on the bezel.

I am personally huge fan of the more discreet GMT. I am on the fence about the green GMT hand but if I were in the market for a GMT Master II this would likely be the purchase.

I think the gilt on the new Tudor ruins it to the point where it is a deal breaker for me, unfortunately.
