I just got my PO back from service. It looks great! I’m very pleased.

Wow, it does look brand new. Will you share a few details, such as which Service Center worked on it, and what they did?

Did they polish the case and/or bracelet?

It was serviced by Omega Canada in Toronto. Yes it was polished and I think they did a great job. The cost was $650 CDN plus tax. They sent all the parts that were replaced back with the watch as well. This is my favourite picture of my watch.

Looks great and I guess that puts the end to people saying Omega claims they can't/won't polish case and bracelet.

Looks terrific! I had the exact same model a few years back. I kind of miss it now...

I have to send my Speedmaster Pro in soon. Is polishing something that you can request them to not perform?

I’m sure you can request that. I had my AD send it in but I wanted it polished. I bought it second hand and wanted it to have a fresh start. You may want to send it yourself. It might be worth a phone call to ask that question before you send it.

Looks great! On a thread recently someone said they wont polish Titanium and would have to replace the whole bracelet. Glad that is not the case. (Pun intended)

Yes this is the 8500 movement in a 42mm titanium PO. It is model number 232.90.42.21.03.001. This is my favourite size. I might get a titanium adjustable clasp for it at some point. I have it adjusted to a comfortable size now though and I kind of hate to mess with it. This is a very comfortable watch.
