Incoming Lange Saxonia Thin

Have lusted after this watch for years and was finally able to acquire one pre-owned. Absolutely thrilled to own this little piece of Saxony!

Congrats! This one has been on my short list for over a year. The size looks perfect. Looks like you could dress it up or down without issue. What else is in your collection?

Thanks! This one joins my beloved Rolex Explorer II polar (older version-circa 2000) as the second watch in my collection. Not sure what will be next, but pretty happy with this sport/dress combo!

Quick photo to show how the 37mm size compares to the larger Explorer II. Of course, the smaller bezel makes the Lange wear larger.

What an amazing picture. It looks to be identical in size to your Explorer II. I've loved the Saxonia Thin for a long time, but having never seen in it person, I worried it would wear too small. That certainly doesn't seem to be the case. Looks perfect.

I've been thinking pretty hard at a two watch collection which would include my sports watch (42mm black Explorer II) and a dress watch. I have it narrowed down to about 10 different models with the Lange being on the high end along with a Vacheron Traditionnelle. Also thinking hard about a JLC Master Control, a couple of Grand Seikos and the IWC Ingenuier.

Congrats! Lange ruins all other watches and makes everything else feel/look cheap. My favorite part about Lange is how all models receive the same level of ridiculous finishing!

Yes! The VC Traditionnelle was the other high-end dress watch on my list too. And I tried on the JLC Master Control Sector Dial and really enjoyed it too. Happy hunting!

This is a classic forever piece. ALS can make the watch look brand new as long as you pay for the service ;-)

Huge congratulations....I would love to add a “white” dual dress watch to the collection and while I already have this Saxonia Outsize Date, I love this Saxonia thin. It’s such a a great value...You guys think it would be too redundant?

I was sure that it was the 40mm you had when I saw the picture.

Hard to believe it’s 37mm.

Gorgeous piece! It’s on my list for 2020.

Beautiful watch! I think it would make a perfect compliment to the saxonia Thin, particularly if you got the latter in white gold. Dark dial/light dial; pink gold/white gold; black strap/brown strap- you’d be ready for any (somewhat upscale) occasion!
