I will go with 16710 Pepsi, the 116710LN is too plain and simple. But if you want a ceramic bezel get the 116710BLNR

White gold has that mesmerising hue and shine which is enticing, then you feel the weight of it on your wrist and it's hard to forget!

In terms of wearability, the LN wins it for me. But then again, I never cared for the fit/feel of the 5 digit bracelet. And that clasp...I just can't do it.

Each of these magnificent watches are very worthy. However, they are very dissimilar in their construction and technical characteristics.
My current daily wearer is the BLNR. Out of all my watches, this fits and feels this best. It is modern, marvelously manufactured in every detail and hard to surpass. My 16710 Pepsi is like a classic MB 450 SL. Well engineered for its time, iconic in appearance and perpetually fit for enduring wear. It’s simplicity is its strength. Holding the two side by side points out the differences quite simply. The question is which appeals to you the most? Nothing wears as comfortably as the newer models. Nothing looks better than my crisp Pepsi. Not a fan of new BLRO. |

I would go with 116710, because you already have a 5 digit Rolex, so I think that maybe it’s time for a Ceramic version

I have both the ceramic LN as well as a number of 16710’s including coke, Pepsi and LN.
The LN in 5 or 6 digit makes for proably the most versatile bezel combo of any GMT bar none. 5 digits have a heritage that 6 digits don’t yet possess, but the 6 digit is really a superior watch in many ways. 6 digits take a daily beating and barely show any signs of ware. I like them both equally, but for different reasons. Since getting my 6 digit, my 5 digits don’t get daily ware anymore. |

The LN is my favorite 6 digit GMT but in this case I'd get the 16710.

Leaning towards getting the 5 digit Pepsi, selling my polar, and buying a 114060. I think a ND Sub C and a 16710 would be a great combo.

I would keep the polar. It’s nice to have some contrast with a white dial in the collection. Black dials are all over the Rolex lineup and in this case the 16710 and 114060 are both black dials. I agree, they are a great combo but the polar in there would make an even better trio. ⌚️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was looking at some 16710s and decided it has to be unpolished, now I'm at 11k with B&P and thinking about the bracelet and clasp, l just can't get on board. I'm going for a new Blnr or Ln

The Pepsi is my choice without a doubt, IMO any GMT Pepsi is highly desirable, it will really go with the Polar you already have.

3 isn't quite in the cards right now, but who knows. Maybe its worthwhile to keep the Polar and add the Sub when the time comes.

I'll get a lot of heat for this, but I'm not a BLNR fan. Yes, 16710 prices are high, but I don't see how a "bubble" would pop. Rolex is only getting hotter and this model is so sought after that it seems it will only go up. Probably going to try to find a decent B&P example hopefully around 10k

I don't think it's even close. 16710 Pepsi is just in it's own league and gets all my wrist time.
Get it now, there will be many opportunities to get 116170LN later. |

If you have a pretty small wrist the 6 digits don't really wear well. Even though the numbers say they're the same size they wear significantly different. |

Faced this same question some 10 years ago, at that time I could have pickup a brand new Pepsi from the AD but chose the GMT-LN instead because the LN is much better made than the old Pepsi and I don't like the smaller double-lock crown of the 5-digit Pepsi. I still like the pepsi but will get the new 6-digit SS BLRO instead.
I think you can't lose with either, enjoy! |

I've got a 15 yr old 16710LN that's never been serviced and keeps great time. It's my travel watch (whether in the same or across time zones). I love it and would never flip it. You have to go with your gut. Try them both and whichever sings to you is the one to get.

A 16710 would be perfect with a polar 16570!
