I agree with you Paul, but both fit the bill as a classic Panerai.

I hope you mean $4000-$5000 CDN not USD.

I bought my PAM111H brand new from an AD for $3400 USD.

He is talking CDN, the taxes alone that they pay are out of this world.

Yes, we pay high taxes and import taxes/duties are stoopidly high too.

I just don't know what's better... high taxes and 'free' healthcare or low taxes and taking the chance that a stay in the hospital won't bankrupt me. Tough call.

Trust me, I would rather pay the taxes.

We save 1% being on the west coast, Only 14 % added on at the cash register
Plus our Govt adds 5% import duty on "mechanical Swiss watches", then you figure in the exchange rate .
I just keep hearing that song "Knee In the package"

We don't need a reason. You're our sacrificial sheep(shagger).

I picked up a PAM113 for about $3800 usd.
And am looking at a PAM25 for around $4,900 ( titatium submersible)

Good luck
Where did you find the Pam 111 for $3900? I'm in the market for one.

Man, we still have a 3 year old post in circulation .. for the love of Panerai.

In that case auth AD is selling it for 5800, I can bring him down to 5200 if I pay cash. Tough times .. perhaps I can trade in my EXP II for a 111.

4000-5000 means 4500 to me. No box no papers, that price is a bit steep. What year is his watch? I only ask because I got mine at the Panerai boutique store in Italy 3 years ago when the retail was 4400. I believe now the retail is 5600. I would aim around 3500-4000 given no papers and no box. That's what I've seen them for in Paneristi.com and that comes with box and papers. Anyway, it is a great watch with classic good looks.
