Its rare that I get one. I noticed a gentleman wearing a vintage gmt pepsi the other day and said nice watch. He rambled on how he got it in 1970something for $1900 and how much the new ones are now. He never even noticed I was wearing my smurf.

Not a single compliment in six years of wearing various Rolex watches.

I'm not bothered by this at all. I rather enjoy flying under the radar.

And many times get the comment - 'that's the first one I have ever seen'

None, and that's how I like it.

If people started commenting on a watch I'd have to seriously rethink whether I wanted it or not.

Hulk. Once a month at least, but most don't realize it's a rolex, they just love the color

My wife actually complimented me on my BLNR the other day. I've had it for a year a half.

Besides that, never.

Have gotten tons of Panerai compliments - either on the watch or the strap. By the same token I feel its easier to start a convo over Panerai vs a Rolex if someone is wearing one.

Have not received one Rolex compliment to date -- even when in close quarters / asked for what time it is.

Years ago TT Blue Sub....a handful of compliments from non watch people.

Any other (which is rare) is from someone that knows it's a Rolex and wearing one themselves...those don't count

But I love the look of my DSSD (or Sub or GMT) took me years to realize that was the look I love the most and not as concerned about it other people like it. But it feels nice when someone compliments anything on you

Yes I do agree with that

I don't really want anyone commenting on my watch but get some ..and only with my D - Blue.

Airline lounges or golf club mainly,,,but that's about it

Personally speaking, I do not rely on a Rolex for any outside validation or well-intentioned compliments. If anything, I'd prefer that the watch is somewhat unrecognizable/unacknowledged by 90% of the population.

Hard to determine because of variables. My hulk has received the most comments/compliments, but I wear it more than any other watch.
