Platinum DD all day. Although for me, if I was looking at that watch, the Platona would be in the running.

I would probably go with the 5960 cuz it has been discontinued last month, and I'm sure that there price will start to increase gradually.

I’m leaning towards the 1a/-001 but haven’t yet ruled out the 010....but have narrowed it down to those two.

Hoping to see both in the metal side by side soon!

More of a 5726 fan myself but I’d still pick the 5711 just from a value retention standpoint alone.

I like the black dial more, looking forward to your thoughts and an incoming that is not a Naut/Aqua!

For the current market prices a platinum DD40. The 5711 is really overly hyped for being the real entry-level sports Patek. It’s just a SS watch with the date. The 5712 is a better watch. The 5960 is a hideous watch imo. The bracelet is among the ugliest I’ve ever seen. If this watch did not have Patek Philippe on the dial no one would care about it. Trust me!!!

The 5980 is really where it’s at. This is really a fantastic watch.

I don't care for a nautilus unless it's RG or platinum, the SS feels flimsy.
DayDate 40 would be my choice.

DD40. For me, the only reason (and it's more compelling to me than I care to admit) to get a Patek is because it's a Patek.
