Hello, I'm a relatively new member to the forums. I've lurked for a while, but plan to take a more active role in the forums.

I love watches. My father and uncle are in the jewelry business and I've always been exposed to watches since I tagged along to their shops and was gifted my first watch at age... I don't know, 11? It was a Nobel titanium watch, and I still have it today. I own a couple other watches that most of my friends would say are "sweet," but are not really in the "luxury" range.

I got married a couple weekends ago, and my dad wanted to gift me a Rolex. He knows I like the GMT Masters and we've been looking for a Pepsi/Cola styled one. 16700, 16750, 1675, 16710, 16760... you name it. The problem is, of course, price range- about a year ago we thought such a watch would be feasible, but the supply has been cut so low- uhhh I mean, the demand has gotten so high- that finding one in our price range has been difficult.

As I patiently wait for one, I'm here to just learn as much as I can about horology in general. I love old Rolexes and especially love old Breitlings. I'm a budding member on both forums and hope that my time here helps my collection grow nicely.
