Completely agree. I had ruled it out initially based solely on not having the “right” proportions based on comments made on TRF. Turns out they are right for me.

Yea, that heavier fluted bezel and markers is what pulled me into the DJ2 as it looked more sporty and youthful.

It is definitely a preference thing. I bought the DJ41, I think it is more refined and proportions are in line with the DJ 36 I once owned. I passed on DJ11, becuase of the proportions.

I am a big Panerai fan as it has its own look and compliments the Rolex. Check out the Pam 104. Most versatile watch I own with all the different strap options for diving and dress.
