I got this today.

I got this JLC Ultra slim small seconds this morning, I have forgotten how nice the "new watch experience" is. I have wanted a dress watch for a long time and always seem to come back to this one. I haven't had the best of times over Christmas with operations and the like, this is a breath of fresh air. I'm dead chuffed with this one.

Please excuse the awful phone pics, I will try and get some better ones later today or tomorrow.

Reflection from TV making a blue cast.

It's a stunning watch! It's nice to be able to switch it up and wear something that thin every once and a while. Enjoy!

Tidy

Hey Dave sadden to hear of your health issues and trust that your on the mend,

you have a tidy looking dress watch there, can you help out with a few more details, to me it has a 50's 60's style to it, so its date would be interesting to know along with they type of movement,

Very please for you, all the best "H"

Thank you very much H, it does look 60s to me as well, it is slightly larger than that era though at 38.5mm, I have a 6.5 inch wrist so it is my sort of sweet spot, I was looking for something very simple looking as a sort of "for best" watch if you will.

Another good thing was that I was able to get out with friends for dinner last night, the watch was very comfortable and never got any comments, which was pleasing, it meant that it did what I wanted, but, I felt really good wearing it (I hope that last bit makes sense).

The movement is the JLC 896/1 (I will get some pics up soon) this is from their site; "Automatic, self-winding, Components : 223, Vibrations per hour : 28800, Jewels : 32, Barrel : 1, Height : 3.98 mm."

This is the JLC website for the watch.

Thank you very much once again for your kind comments H.
