A box like this is pictured on page 359 in "The Best of Time Rolex Wristwatches" 1st edition by James Dowling (give credit where credit's due). The caption remarks that the box was for a GMT commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Oyster in 1976. I would have thought it was older.
